I am now entering my seventh week in Tamale, Ghana. The journey thus far has been both challenging and rewarding. Challenging because of the relentless heat, dust and cultural differences; yet rewarding because of the generous hospitality of the people in Tamale and exchange of knowledge and ideas.

My name is Leisha Murphy and I am a first year student in the faculty of law at the University of Windsor. I completed my Masters of Arts at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University in December 2006.
Students Without Borders™ is a WUSC program that enables Canadian university and college students to participate in exciting, volunteer learning opportunities in South America, Africa, and Asia.
Placements are now available for Summer 2012 term.
