Botswana: Pre-departure Biograpgy
Posted by Josianne on July 21st, 2009
Hello,
My name is Josianne Bourdeau I am a 24 year old caucasian woman. I was born in Ottawa on the 26th of May 1985. I grew up in a small community in East of Ottawa named Embrun. In that same community, I went thru out primary and secondary school. I graduated in 2003 from Embrun High School and the fallowing year I applied as a veterinary technician at Alfred College. In the fallowing months I found that this wasn`t made for me so I quit college and went to work as a nurse`s aide in a local residence. During this period I learn the true meaning of helping others and it became something that I cherish. From this experience, I decided to fill out an application in a local college called La Cité Collégiale as a Youth worker. In those three years, I learned a lot about human behaviours and the causes and remedies of the human race. I graduated in 2006 and I wanted to learn more about human behaviours so I decided to get my bachelor at Ottawa University in Social work. I am now in my fourth year and I am determined to learn more. I got accepted to do an international training which I think will be an amazing experience for myself and for my further career.
Thank you,
Josianne
