Working with LPSD in Ho Chi Minh City!

Hi! My name is Gabrielle Fortier-Cofsky and I’m a second year student in law and international development at University of Ottawa. The environmental issue is great interest for me, as well as politics and social issues. I would like to specialize in environmental law and this is why I was really excited to go work in this field in Vietnam. This internship is the best opportunity for me to develop my law research skills in relation with the social and economic background of the country. Furthermore, I think that Asia has a extremely rich culture, and Vietnam has an incredible history. I look forward to learn about this amazing country. I will be working in Ho Chi Minh City, which is the biggest city in Vietnam. It seems to be a growing city that’s never moving, which will be very different from my quiet municipality! More personally, I really hope to be able to take a cooking class to learn how to cook amazing Vietnamese food!
