Dumela!! I noticed right away how greeting is so important here in Botswana. People were greeting each other in the street, in the combi, and the market. The friendly greetings would eventually lead to a conversation. Every time I walk down the street strangers would greet me by saying “dumela mma,” which means hello miss. [...]
